Singtel Youth Olympic Games Opening
Ceremony Countdown, 14 Aug 2010.
Singtel had a YOG Opening Ceremony Countdown show at VivoCity rooftop
amphitheater on 14 August and the Jumping Jewels where hired to be the
icebreaker act. Reached the amphitheater on schedule at 5pm with
nine Jewels. It was a tiring day as we had YOG show rehearsals at
Bishan
Sports Hall at 12.30pm and 4 of the Jewels are observing their
religious fasting. At 5.50pm decked in our Singtel red and white
outfits we started the show which had an audience engagement segment.
Starting with a banging double dutch fusion follow by 2 spot skipping
games ending with our 8 skipper singing syncronize routine. The large
stage was perfect for a syncronize routine.
The event organizers kindly invited us to stay to enjoy the countdown
show but we had kindly declined as we had to go back to Tampines to
break-fast
and practice for our 6 Youth Olympic Games shows. The first show will
be tomorrow at the Fencing games.
